1. What kind of services does GBC provide?

1.1 We provide different services to sellers and buyers too!

Sellers can register only from UK. Buyers can register from the whole of Europe.

Buyers can use our “bid mandate” services to give us offers for the real action that we will put behalf of them on one of the UK auction houses. However, GBC has own actions and buy it now based items as well and buyers can make its own bid on this items or buy them. We also have logistic solutions and we can help to manage unique queries.

 

1.2 Products

First of all we are offering used, damaged or wrecked vehicles, half vehicles and parts bundles for sale.

 

1.2.1 Vehicles

These vehicles are damaged, wrong, wrecked, flood damaged, burned but in many cases these vehicles can be fixed and can be used again! Some cannot be repaired they can be sold only for parts. Our system is always showing the Log Book availability for a vehicle. So the buyer can diced to purchase it or no. The Log Book is needed in many countries when the buyer would like to use the vehicle again on the road. The local Vehicle Registration Offices normally require it!

 

1.2.2 Half Vehicles

This type of buying means a vehicle that is cut in a half or will be cut after purchase. This is a very cost effective solution if we see the transportation side of it. Especially in the case of the VANs. Other advantages of this, that the cut vehicle is not a “vehicle” anymore as it is counted, used car parts and also it is de-polluted! This is the second advantage especially to those buyer who does not have the right licence to de-pollute a vehicle! If the buyer buys half vehicles then they do not need to worry for the licence anymore!

 

1.2.3 PARTS BUNDLES

What the parts bundles means? Basically “a bunch of parts in a basket”. All bundles include specific parts of the vehicle. The following bundles we have:

Mechanical Front, Mechanical Rear, Front Parts, Rear Parts, Doors, Sunroof/hood, Mixed Parts, Bike Parts.

2. Who can register and with what conditions?

Registration is available for everybody.

 

2.1 As a consumer

After the pre-registration and the first login the User must finish the registration for the sake of item data protection (like VIN numbers and engine codes etc) and to identify his or herself. Other than this, GBC requires a deposit for every single item, it does not matter if it is a buy it now or auction item. More information in article 10.

 

2.2 As a company

For a time and with some conditions, the deposit restriction can be released from a re-sellers account. More information in article 10 and 11.

 

3. I made my registration. When can I bid?

3.1 As it is mentioned in article 2, we need some additional proof of who you are. If we checked these information and everything that you provided us is acceptable we will activate your account. In the most cases we activate your account in the next hours but latest in the next 48h. However if something is missing, or your scanned documentation are unreadable, or invalid then your registration will be delayed. We will contact you and ask you to upload the right documentation.

 

3.2 GBC invented this system only for the serious buyers, therefore the User can bid or purchase something only if they have paid a deposit. This deposit is not a “one time” deposit. All User have the option to top up the online wallet. The system will restrain an amount from the online wallet, for every single item that the user intends to purchase or for every item that the User makes a bid on. More information in the T&C.

 

4. Can I make bid if I am consumer?

Of course you can. However please keep in your mind article 2. The transportation can be totally different for a consumer then for a company. Please read through the T&C before your purchasing something.

 

5. How can I place a bid? What does ‘bid offer’ mean?

Both are totally different things.

5.1 Bidding

As the word “Bidding” describes it, this is a real bidding for our customers who are authorized to do so. This case the User makes its own bid and follows it till the end. (Note: The User does not need to follow its bidding of course. There is a automatic bidding option called: Proxy bid.)

 

5.2 What does it mean PROXY bid?

5.3 Bid Offer

Bid offer simply means that users – in the present case you – order our company to place a bid online on an item on UK auction sites up to the amount specified by you.

6. Can I only buy on auction?

Of course, we do not offer items for auction sale only, although they comprise most of our product range. Some of the vehicles uploaded in our system will be available at a FIXED price by other words, “BUY IT NOW”. You can buy these with a simple click and can pay through the offered payment methods. More about the payment in the article 11.

 

7. Where can I find a detailed description of the pricing of GBC Professional Ltd and other prospective costs?

8. What kind of options are available for the International delivery?

One of our main objective is that to help to the user in anything that is possible. This is a very sensitive element in our business. Therefore we needed to draw lines here. By default, regarding our terms and condition, the user responsibility to organise the international delivery. After all, to some country we are able to organise the delivery. If that so, our site shows the option for every single item and you can choose it. BE WARNED: The price is not showed regarding the information in the article 7.4! We also suggest, if the translation of the F.A.Q. is available on your language, please read that, as it may include more details about the international delivery specified to your country!

 

9. What are the rules for the payment?

9.1 Payment for items with bid mandate.

Our company bid mandate service is a very unique service. It means, we are only help you to buy something but the buyer is still you. Basically we organise for you everything but them payment is on you. It must be immediately after you won something. Our system generate the invoices for you at the same day and you must pay on the same or the following working day latest. Also we believe in that, if your intentions are serious, that does not mean you any problem. As the above mentioned working method, we will invoice you all extra costs that your late payment caused to us. Like the UK auction sites' storage fees, fines etc. Also if your payment is not arrived in 7 days after you won, you will lose your initial deposit.

 

9.2 Payment for GBC items – vehicles, half vehicles, parts bundles.

Auction based and buy it now items.

In both cases the situation is completely the same. After the purchase or won an auction your payment must arrive in 10 days (calendar days!) to us. Therefore, we strongly recommend you to pay immediately after you bought or won something and even do not wait a day! The payment with our payment option can arrive even in hours so it only depends on the user, on you and not on the bank facility. GBC has zero tolerance in the payment cases. Always the user is responsible for it! More you can read in the article 13.

 

PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT YOU PAID A DEPOSIT TO US AND IF YOUR PAYMENT DOES NOT ARRIVE ON TIME YOU WILL LOSE YOUR INITIAL DEPOSIT!

 

10. Why does GBC require DEPOSIT?

The deposit is a security for us that makes us sure you will pay the full amount of the item!

We are serious and our services are too, offering only for the serious buyers. If you are one of these, the deposit does not mean you any problem. The deposit will be recorded in your Online Wallet and depending from the amount you have, the system lets or does not let you send in bid mandates or make bids or buy something. More about the amounts in the T&C.

 

11. I am a responsible person. Is there a chance to use the system without a deposit?

12. What type of payment methods are available?

12.1 Top up system – Online Wallet!

We suggest that to top up your Online Wallet before you purchase anything. This not just a suggestion it is required as well for the Deposit system. You won't be able to purchase or make bids without credit in your Online Wallet. More information in the T&C.

 

12.2 TRANSFERWISE! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

12.3 Extra fast bank transfer.

Good, fast but not always cheap. Some bank have a very good offer. Please find out more at your local bank. However we still recommend Transferwise!

 

12.4 Normal bank transfer.

This method is totally useless for the user and for us too! The money sent by this way definitely would arrive late! Minimum 5 days or more for sending time. PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT USE THIS OPTION FOR PAYMENT. If you do, probably you will be fined by us as your payment won't arrive on time. Only use this option to top up your Online Wallet. Thank you!

 

13. Where can I find the items in the system, which I won or purchased?

After logging in you can find the items won or purchased at a fixed price, the pictures belonging to them, prices and all other details on the right side of our page in the relevant sub menu of “My Bids” main menu point.

 

14. When and how can I get the invoice?

14.1 Type of the invoice.

We use exclusively electronic invoicing. Electronic invoicing means that we only make a computer-generated invoice in PDF format. For this reason it doesn’t contain any signature or stamp. According to EU laws electronic invoicing is as accepted as the old “paper-based invoice”. Accountants can easily use it and it doesn’t oppose the laws of any country within the European Union!

14.2 Where can I find the invoice?

14.3 Yet, if you need a paper-based invoice we can only provide it at an additional charge and you will be charged for the postal fees too.

 

15. How should I know how much to give for a vehicle on the auction?

Our website will inform you about the prospective sum total completely on the basis of the price specified by you. As you type the required price, our system will calculate accordingly. The amount must be given in pound, and you get the approximate sum total immediately in pound or in the currency of your country and/or in euro. This way you can decide how much the item is worth to you and you can place your bid accordingly. The basic price you would pay for the car is only known to you.

 

We have two more system those help you to give a shoo-in bid offer for us.

A, Most of the vehicle details page include a “Average Value” information. This can help you to place a good bid offer. Unfortunately it can not be determined but we can say generally that to make a bid offer for 20-30% of the showed Average Values can help to increase the chance to win!

 

B, We created a very serious database that shows you a suggested price when you place your bid offer. This works based on the last years data, the REAL closed prices of the auctions. The system watches the makes, models, year of make and the fuel.

We can say that the system is kind of precise! However it shows an average value only, NOT the price that will definitely be enough to win.

Note 1: The current bid status of the given item shouldn’t influence your decision! Many people make a mistake by doing so and miss out a good bargain.

Note 2: The function of approximate preliminary price calculation is not available in all categories, only in case of passenger cars, motorcycles and VANs.

 

16. Extra options. What does “I want the vehicle to be cut” mean?

In case of a high and long vehicle we can make it take less space. For example, if VANs were transported as one, you would mostly pay for the transportation of “air”. If we cut the front-end of the van and remove the rear axle, 2 vans can be transported at the cost of a passenger car! It is lots of saving if you consider that 2 vans take up the space of the cargo of a whole truck if transported as one. If you purchase an off-road vehicle or a small van and it is very high – above 1.5 m – it can fit in the place of a passenger car if its roof is cut off. In one piece it takes up the space of 2 passenger cars. (transported by our system of transport)

PLEASE NOTE: Regarding the international waste control and waste delivery rules, all hazardous waste will be removed from all cut vehicle! Like, air bags, catalyst converter, oils etc! You also need to know that not all country in the EU are in the Green Waste Control list. For example Romania. Therefore we are not able to provide delivery to this countries or a half vehicle or even parts bundles. If you purchase half vehicles from us, it is your responsibility to collect them from UK!

 

17. What kind of warranty is available for vehicles or parts bundles?

In the most cases all vehicles are qualified as written off by an insurer company. Like this, we cannot talk about any kind of warranty. It is unimaginable for someone to provide warranty to a vehicle or item like these vehicles. Even if the vehicle are not a written off, still we cannot talk about any warranty. In case of parts bundles the situation is completely the same. As they are in a bundle and the bundles are removed from vehicle that probably sustained an accident, there is no chance to offer warranty. However we have a feedback system that measures the sellers based on the sold items! More information in the article 22.

 

18. Why do you offer a UK Log Book (V5) document, why would I need it?

23. Feedback system. What is it good for and how does it work?

That so simple. With the feedback or we can call it a rating system, buyers can rate the sellers. That helps everyone. Every vehicle's or parts bundles' data sheet at the left side under the pictures, you will find a feedback table. In this table there is a positive, neutral or negative feedback rows with columns of the time of periods. These measure the sellers of the item that you are watching. Ratings have been created based on the previously sold items of the seller by other users or you! If you leave feedbacks after your purchased or won items, than you help yourself and others to rate sellers. However buyers must be responsible. Please always leave your feedback, but consider it before you place it and be honest! The feedbacks have a very serious impact for a seller, for us and for everyone.
